This site with Eric Johnson and the Electromagnets showcases Eric Johnson's style being developed a long time ago. For those who haven't heard Eric Johnson, do yourself a favor and find "Tones", or "Ah Via Musicom". Heavily Hendrix oriented, mixed with Jeff Beck, with an immaculate tone. Excellent to listen to. The video I have of him explainig technique puts me to sleep immediately though, he is obsessed with little things like the power and type of battery in a pedal. Love his playing though

Fernandes guitars

Fernandes guitars make excellent guitars. I have had a Fernandes copy of a Stratocaster for years, back when they had the real Fender shaped headstock. I love that guitar. Fernandes has the Sustainer, a controllable reversed sort of pickup that drives the strings for controllable sustain. All their demos on their site, and the big names that use them got incredible sounds. I tried a used one at a local guitar store, not sure if it had a low battery or what, but it SUCKED BIG TIME! However, I am still sold on the idea, maybe someday I will get a new Dragonfly Pro, the idea of infinite sustain with a controllable volume, on a whammy equipped guitar makes me cream!

OLGA (the Online Guitar Archive) has been online for over 10 years. They are a huge resource of tablature for many different diverse styles of playing, and many different artists. As the tabs are artists interpretations of the work notated there are sometimes inaccuracies. However, on a whole, this site is so cool! Even if the tab has some errors, it puts you in the right ballpark. And when the tab is totally accurate, watch out! Check it out at http://www.olga.net/ ,they have some info there to support them via donation, this site really deserves it.

Over @ http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/index.php there are PDF files (Adobe Acrobat) that show wiring and parts for Stratocaster's, Telecaster's, basses, and assorted different models of Fender products pickups, switching diagrams, parts list, and parts layout. Very cool indeed!
